In his Circle, I will integrate the Hopi Dark One with Carl Jung’s timeless teachings on the Shadow in all of us. Chief Dan said to me one day as we were out walking through Hoteville, “ Turn around, now tell me what you see.”  I responded “ I see my shadow.”  Yes, said Dan, now your shadow is following,  if you cannot see your shadow it hides things from you.  Now, turn around again, and I did, now what can you see.  I said my shadow is in front of me.  Yes he said, now you are walking into your shadow and you know what lies ahead and how to handle it.  He gave me a long teaching about the Dark One and how we all have this energy within us. The Hopi Dark One knows good people sometimes do bad things.  I believe that by learning to read the messages of our shadow(s) we can expand our consciousness, imagination and soul.
