About Hopi Wisdom Teachings
Beginning in 2019
and at the age of 75, Grandmother Medicine Song decided now was the time to make the necessary bridge to a larger global community by co-creating with the help of a few of her students the Hopi Wisdom Teachings website and our official Facebook Page.
One purpose of this endeavor is to preserve for current and future generations an archive of the Hopi and American Indian spiritual teachings as developed and taught by Grandmother Medicine Song. Although her early learning of the ways of the people was primarily Hopi, she continued to learn from several American Indian Spiritual Leaders and Teachers in her early career.
It’s been over 25 years since Grandmother Medicine Song began the journey of creating and teaching in Circles following the Spiritual Philosophy of the American Indians that she had studied with. Her wish is that together, we might weave a new story. Every year the “Circling Community” grows and evolves and what has emerged is that something ancient, archetypal and deep is evoked. And so, the story continues that together we may create a global “Circling Community” based around the principles of walking in balance, unity, harmony, right relations, kindness, and walking the beauty way.
It is through continued ongoing education and practice of these teachings that together, will make a positive difference so all life might coexist and flourish on Mother Earth. This magic is created by the by the coming together of people for the common and specific purpose of spiritual self-discovery.
As we move into the Fifth World,
Grandmother Medicine Song finds the energy of the Circles moving to hold a healing, not only for ourselves, but for all living beings and our Mother Earth.
When we come together there is a strong sense of, and an ancient knowledge that we have sat together over eons of time, midwifing each other into greater spiritual awareness. A dim memory is awakened, a memory that she thinks is transmitted through our genetic blueprint.
It is our prayer that we may continue to remember together. It is our prayer that this archive will serve as a resource to aid in the healing of all life forms and Mother Earth so we may preserve this world for future generations. We invite you to join our “Circling Community”.

About Grandmother Medicine Song…

Hopi Grandmother, Storyteller and Teacher
Grandmother Medicine Song shares her story of walking in two worlds – that of the Anglo and that of “the people”.

In the world of “the people”,
Grandmother Medicine Song spent her summers on the Mesas of Arizona with her Hopi grandmother where she learned and lived the mysteries and ways of the people.

In the world of the Anglo,
Grandmother Medicine Song has a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California and Post Doctorate work in Religion from the California Institute for Integral Studies. For over twenty years, Grandmother Medicine Song had an active practice as a Jungian analyst.

In the hope that bridges between these two worlds can be built,
Grandmother Medicine Song’s teachers have given her permission and encouragement to bring forth the wisdom of the old ways at this critical juncture in humanity’s evolution.

What Jeanne says about Grandmother Medicine Song and her teachings,
“For me these teachings have dispelled any lingering ideas that I am a separate being in a world of other material things. Now I find myself living in, and deeply connected to a world that is sentient and alive. I feel as though the all of nature has become a magical, sentient, alive being that can and will support me and teach me. This, too me, is living in Sacred Life.”
