Being in Balance
A Fall Equinox Reflection September 2026
A Fall Equinox Reflection September 2026
Dear Dreamers,
The mornings have changed. There is something in the air — cooler, quieter, more golden. The great wheel is turning, and the Earth knows it before we do.
This month the Fall Equinox arrives, and with it, one of nature’s gift: equal day, equal night. Perfect balance. Not a moment to rush through — a moment to stand inside.
The Elders remind us that balance is not something we achieve and keep. It is a constant, gentle returning to center. Like the Earth itself, we are always moving through seasons of light and shadow, giving and receiving, fullness and rest. The Equinox does not ask us to be perfectly balanced. It asks us to notice — to pause in the turning and look honestly at our own walk.
Where are you giving more than you are receiving? Where are you holding on when it is time to release?
Balance begins within. And from that still center, it ripples outward into every relationship, every step, every choice.
On or near the Equinox, step outside at dawn or dusk. Feel the ground beneath your feet. Ask yourself: where in my life am I out of balance right now?
Walk gently. Begin there.
That is your practice. That is your ceremony. That is the sacred work of the Equinox.
Blessings in your walk,
Lee
